The 2017 Chardonnay Dierberg Vineyard is a striking wine that brings together tension, power and energy. Tightly wound and energetic, the 2017 is going to need time to be at its best, but it is impressive in the early going. Crushed rock, lemon peel and bright floral notes confer vitality to this beautifully sculpted Santa Maria Chardonnay.

The 2017 Chardonnay Dierberg Vineyard features warm white peaches, Greek yogurt, crushed stone and lime peel scents with notions of pie crust and a light framing of spice. Light to medium-bodied, it's purely fruited with juicy acidity and a long, mineral-driven and textured finish. 178 cases produced.
