This is texturally thrilling, with ripe wild berry fruit depths guided by brisk acidity, taking on a saline edge and hints of licorice toward the close. It's potent and long with gritty tannins. A concentration of tart blackberry and spice pinch at the cheeks, yet the mouth is left watering for more as a salty flourish carries on.

Pale ruby-purple, the 2021 Pinot Noir Bergström Vineyard segues from gentle flinty tones to scents of raspberry, cranberry, lavender, dried herbs and touches of orange peel. The light-bodied palate is delicate and perfumed with a softly chalky texture, fireworks of fresh acidity and a long, ethereal finish with wafts of floral and citrus.
