Tasting Notes and Scores
Seamless, and refined, the red-purple 2019 Pinot Noir The Point moves into the blue-fruited spectrum, with attractive, layered aromas of black raspberry, lavender, leather, and wet stone. As it opens in the glass, it’s ripe and full on the palate, with a weightless feel, velvety tannins, and gorgeous clarity of framboise fruit through its long finish. The inaugural vintage for this exceptional wine, it’s a stunner.

Powerful red and blue fruit preserve, incense, floral oil and smoky mineral scents are accompanied by hints of cola and Indian spices. Alluringly sweet and expansive on the palate, offering densely packed black raspberry, boysenberry, star anise and floral pastille flavors and a strong undercurrent of zesty minerality. Velvety tannins lend shape to a powerful, mineral-tinged finish that shows fine detail and wonderful persistence
