Tasting Notes and Scores
97pts Bordeaux Index “From a tiny plot at 700ft elevation. There is a seriousness to the nose here: wet stones, flint, juniper. Acidity and salinity rock effortlessly back and forth across the palate underpinning the delicate wild red fruits, smoked herbs, some fresh earth. It is effortless and complete with power and finesse. Intriguing and beautiful.”
Bordeaux Index
Perhaps the wine with the most fruit and flesh to it and the only wine in the line up from the Dundee Hills. This leads with a broad spectrum of flavours from high toned crushed red flowers, raspberries to blue fruits with a lovely violet lift. So detailed and delicate on the palate – ocean spray, white pepper and roses. Excellent definition.
