95pts Josh Raynolds, Vinous Deep, vivid scarlet. Expansive, mineral-tinged raspberry, boysenberry and floral scents pick up suave vanilla and Indian spice nuances as the wine opens up. Palate-staining red berry preserve, mulberry and cherry cola flavors are underscored by a vein of juicy acidity. Blends depth and energy with a sure hand and finishes extremely long and sappy, with penetrating floral and mineral notes and round, even tannins that come in late.
