Gary Boom, CEO of Bordeaux Index was honoured with the invitation to chair this year's Great Wine Dinner and Auction, raising funds for the wonderful Marie Curie in collaboration with Château Haut-Brion and Champagne Bollinger.
Bordeaux Index is delighted to announce the success of this year’s The Great Wine Dinner and Auction held in partnership with the UK's leading end of life charity, Marie Curie. The event, which took place last night, brought together wine enthusiasts, collectors, and philanthropists in support of Marie Curie’s essential work in end-of-life care, raising a record-breaking amount through the evening’s auction.
With an exceptional selection of auction lots, from tours and tastings at some of the world's most prestigious vineyards to exclusive private dining events, the bidders had the opportunity to secure unforgettable experiences and rare, high-end wines, while supporting a hugely worthy cause.
Gary Boom, CEO of Bordeaux Index, was honoured with the invitation to chair this year's committee enlisting Château Haut-Brion, Champagne Bollinger and Jancis Robinson to generously donate wine and glasses for enjoying throughout the evening. With highly sought-after vintages and unique collections on the auction block, the evening achieved unprecedented success in raising funds for Marie Curie’s compassionate care services.
