From vines planted on loess soils in 1940, the 2021 Loibner Grüner Veltliner Rothenhof Alte Reben is a first release from this wine that was picked in mid-October, and it offers a clear, intense and finely smoky bouquet of ripe, bright and juicy fruits. Round, lush and elegant on the palate, this is a fine and mouth-filling, aromatic and frost-intense Veltliner with fine grip. This 2021 Rothenhof already drinks perfectly today, but its fine phenolic grip and lush texture give it enough structure for at least a decade. 13% stated alcohol. Natural cork. Tasted at the domaine in September 2022.
