A great bargain in any vintage, in 2009 this may be the best wine they have ever produced. It is a terrific sleeper of the vintage. Already seductive and lush, it displays oodles of subtle barbecue smoke interspersed with black cherry and black currant fruit as well as silky tannins. Dark ruby/purple in a larger-scaled, lusher style than usual, this is a beauty. Drink it over the next 6-8 years. (Tasted two times.)
