A strong performance for this wine, the 1962 Las Cases exhibits a light to medium ruby/garnet color, as well as a seductive, intense fragrance that is often a characteristic of the finest 1962s. The wine is soft, medium to full-bodied, with excellent ripeness, gorgeous balance, and no hard edges. Don't push your luck with this vintage; drink it up.
