The 2017 Pontet Labrie is distinguished in this range by its bright, floral-infused aromatics and red-toned fruit. Gracious and silky, but with plenty of the richness that is characteristic of these wines, the 2017 is positively stellar. Big, ample and rich, this dark-fruited, floral wine finishes with tremendous depth and a good deal of grip, too.

Blended of 80% Merlot and 20% Cabernet Franc, the 2017 Pontet Labrie is deep garnet-purple colored with a nose of tapenade, truffles and cigar boxes over black plums and blackberries. Medium to full-bodied with grippy tannins, it has good density and plenty of savory notions on the long chewy finish.
