Although this 100% Merlot possesses 15% alcohol (one of the highest I tasted), it is not the least bit hot. Strikingly elegant, with delicious red and black fruits, good acidity, and sweet tannin, it is a round, layered, impressive Cotes de Francs to enjoy over the next 7-8 years. (Tasted two times.)
