The 2018 Chassagne-Montrachet Village has a straightforward bouquet with primal grapey and melon aromas. The palate is balanced with a light saline entry, but it is missing some weight and feels attenuated on the finish.

Horribly heavy bottle. Some SO2 seems to be showing on the nose though it should dissipate with time. On the palate it is very crisp but perhaps slightly lean. (JH)
