Tasting Notes and Scores
The 2020 Meursault Clos du Cromin is one of the smallest crus from the domaine, at just three or four barrels. Half the vines were planted by the brothers’ great-grandfather in 1929 and the other half in 2000. This has a lovely bouquet of pressed yellow flower, honeysuckle and light jasmine scents. The fresh, zesty palate is very well balanced with a fine bead of acidity, but closes a little toward the finish, which shows fine persistence and salinity. I would afford this at least a couple of years in bottle.
