Tasting Notes and Scores

Good deep red. Slightly reduced, soil-driven aromas of redcurrant, smoke and underbrush. Sweet and pliant on the palate but with nicely integrated acidity framing the red and dark fruit and chimney smoke flavors. A cooler style of 2012, displaying excellent balance and a light touch. Fine tannins reach the front teeth on the long, complex aftertaste.
