Tasting Notes and Scores
A brisk fresher purple. There is a good volume of supple fruit, still in fresh red berry style, with fair length. Limited tannins. The whole bunches are not especially apparent but doubtless serve to liven up the wine. Drink from 2028-2033. Tasted Oct 2024.

Cherry menthol nose. Lots of bitterness on the palate (tannins but also bitter orange) but it’s fissured into the fruit and the texture and the fruit pumps through. Brimming with energy, brimming with fruit, feels as if it wants to spill over. And then a slightly pinched finish and redcurrant sourness. The alcohol is surprisingly low for 2023. Tamlyn Currin.
