Tasting Notes and Scores
From vines in Comblanchien and Brochon, the 2018 Côte de Nuits-Villages (Maxime Cheurlin Noëllat) mingles notes of raspberries and rose petals with hints of raw cocoa and espresso roast. Medium to full-bodied, charming and succulent, it's a lively and gourmand wine, with ripe, powdery tannins and bright acids. Drink 2021 - 2037. WK Jan 2021
Wine Advocate
The 2018 Bourgogne Hautes-Côtes de Nuits Rouge comes from purchased fruit. The bouquet features ripe, opulent blueberry and cassis aromas. The palate is medium-bodied with fine tannins and good acidity, perhaps just missing a little density on the finish. Fine. Jan 2020
