Tasting Notes and Scores
Derived from 46 hectares of holdings that average around 45 years old, Fèvre's 2020 Chablis Village is a rare example of a cuvée that combines quantity and quality. Offering up aromas of white flowers, clear honey, bread dough and fresh pastry, it's medium-bodied, saline and seamless, with bright acids and a fine-boned, elegant but intensely flavored profile.

The 2020 Chablis Village comes from 50 different plots around 50 years old, the majority planted at the end of the 1960s. The simple but well-defined bouquet of Granny Smith apples is light and airy. The palate is crisp and taut with citrus lemon and saline notes. Very citric on the finish, and not long, but it conveys satisfying energy at this level.

Light and appley with some juice and light wet-stoniness. Crisp and creditable but not thrilling. (JR)

Weighty, dense and chalky nose, fresh and unfussy. A dry style, all apple skin and a tinge of grapefruit. Good simple Chablis. (AC)
