The domaine's 2022 Chablis 1er Cru Fourchaume, a parcel selection in Vaulorent, opens in the glass with notes of sweet citrus fruit, white flowers and oyster shell, followed by a medium to full-bodied, ample and pillowy palate that's cool and fleshy, concluding with a saline finish.

Tank sample. Initially spicy on the nose, opening to ripe citrus. Pure, inviting citrus (grapefruit) and a complementary pithy texture. Deep in the middle but a little dilute on the finish. (JH)
