Tasting Notes and Scores
eRobertParker.com August, 2012 There is nothing obvious about the 2010 Chassagne-Montrachet La Romanee; rather this is a wine that stands out for its superb textural finesse and pure elegance. The 2010 is a decidedly weightless, pure Burgundy endowed with stunning inner perfume and fabulous overall balance. Stylistically, it is the polar opposite of the Cailleret. Today, my sense is that the 2010 will age beautifully, but time will tell. In 2010, the La Romanee is all about finesse. Anticipated maturity: 2015+.
