Mix of two parcels. ‘The same wine as the old village Gevrey but labelled with more precision’, says Perrot-Minot. Cask sample. Mouthful of bright fruit and lots of gas at the moment. Obviously denser with some chestnut character than the more southerly wines. Dry finish. (JR)
