The 2017 Nuits Saint-Georges Les Murgey 1er Cru has a tightly wound bouquet that needs a lot of coaxing from the glass. The palate is well balanced, quite tender and elegant, though I would have liked more density and grip on the finish. A little bit overshadowed by the Morey Premier Crus this year.
