The 2022 Chambolle-Musigny 1er Cru derives, as usual, from young vine Musigny. Bursting with notes of plums, red berries, rose petals and dried herbs, it's medium to full-bodied, fleshy and succulent, with refined tannins and a mouthwatering finish.

The 2022 Chambolle-Musigny 1er Cru comes from the youngest vines in Musigny, which were planted in 2007. The open-knit bouquet has raspberry, redcurrant and rose petal scents, a touch of damp forest floor percolating through with time in the glass. The palate is medium-bodied with crunchy red fruit, quite brittle in texture, and lightly spiced with plenty of energy on the finish. Worth seeking out. Just five barrels.
