The 2020 Chablis Les Butteaux 1er Cru has a focused bouquet that feels a little austere at first but soon warms up, delivering superb mineral tension. The palate is where the action is: gorgeous lime and orange zest notes, great depth and an effervescent finish that beckons you back for another sip. This is outstanding and flirts with Grand Cru in quality.
