The 2021 Saumur Blanc La Rue is a light-bodied, delicate style with bright freshness alongside a little creaminess from malolactic fermentation (which is unusual for Lambert). There's innate power within its delicate core, providing line and salinity as it goes straight like a runaway through the mouth. It holds the palate firm on the finish with scents of spice and peach.
