The 2022 Côte-Rôtie Côte Brune is bold and profound—a true head-turner. Medium- to full-bodied, the outstanding 2022 is firmly structured by ripe tannins. Its long, persistent finish lingers beyond the final sip, leaving a lasting impression. The 2022 demands several years in a cool cellar before the cork can be pulled.

Cask sample. Dense and ripe nose with blood, animal and wild notes, dark fruits. The palate has some richness as well and the tannins are structured and spread over the whole palate – drenching every part of your mouth. So tight at the moment. Beneath those tannins lurks sandalwood, spice and real energy. Tight and compact and the alcohol slightly creeps in on the finish. Rich, dense and with spice, blood and wild notes. (AC)
