Tasting Notes and Scores
Full bottle 1,446 g. Their Höhen-Sülzen flagship. On chalky subsoil, vines on average 35 years old. RS 3 g/l, TA 7.2 g/l. Rich, broad nose with some peachiness and great salinity and minerality on the finish. Bone-dry finish, this is sleek and super-refreshing. A hint of hazelnuts lurks under the fruit. Very difficult to spit this wine. Very pure. It may last a lot longer than my guess. (JR)
