One of Italy's oldest indigenous varieties which is being safeguarded by a handful of producers. Most people have neither heard of this grape nor tasted it and our team is delighted to say that now we can enthusiastically tick both boxes. Lifted aromas on the nose of dried fruits, black cherries, orange peel, spice and fruitcake. Impeccably structured with fine integrated tannins, backbone, sun-kissed summer fruits, sweet spice and earth. Wonderfully complex and full of personality.
