Rosso's 2009 Barolo Cerretta is richer, deeper and more layered than La Serra. Here the fruit is wonderfully open and resonant, while the tannins are barely noticeable. A generous, resonant finish rounds this out beautifully. Hints of cedar, nutmeg and licorice linger on the soft, resonating finish.

You have to love the chocolate, dried fruits and super-fine tannins. It caresses your palate. Juicy and delicious.
