From Calderara Sottana but from 140-year-old vines. Don Peppino was their veteran vineyard worker, steeped in local knowledge. Very deep and rich and round. Massive broad stuff. Rich and tense. But seems much richer and deeper than the other Terre Nere wines tasted at the same time. (JR)
