The 1996 Percarlo is stunningly beautiful. It boasts striking aromatics, beautifully delineated fruit and great length. Freshly cut flowers, rose petals, licorice and tobacco are some of the many notes that take shape in the glass. The 1996 is a modern-day 1989, with firm tannins, vibrant fruit and plenty of cool climate energy. Today it is flat-out beautiful.
