The first vintage of this “grand cuvée” from the esteemed Inama family was 2019. It is made from a special selection of the best, old Garganega vines on Monte Foscarino, with “I Palchi” referring to the wide terraces lined with pergolas of old vines. It is easy to forget that Soave Classico is a volcanic terroir until, that is, you taste this wine… with all its tension and racy acidity, and incredible saline minerality. This is spectacular. The allocation for the UK was tiny, so we are delighted to have a small quantity in stock.
