The 2013 Bourgogne, which comes from five different plots in Chambolle and Morey, includes 30% whole cluster and 20% new oak, and has a nicely controlled blackberry and raspberry-scented bouquet with a touch of potpourri. The palate is medium-bodied with fine tannin, crisp raspberry and cranberry fruit with a pleasant, edgy, saline finish. Couldn’t ask for more at this level. Drink 2015-2019.

Outstanding. Top value. This is clearly quite ripe and very pretty with a complex nose of red and blue berry fruit liqueur aromas that are liberally laced with earth nuances. There is good richness and volume to the delicious and lush middle weight flavors that retain a fine sense of verve on the sappy finish. Lovely for its level. Drink 2014+
