This is still very youthful for its age, showing fresh blackcurrant and parma violet aromas alongside savoury meaty notes. The palate is full, open and forward, packed with sweet ripe mulberry fruit, but again with a minty blackcurrant lift to counter secondary umami-like characters of mushroom and beef broth.
