Robert Parker's Wine Advocate 30/06/2009 The Nebro cuvee is produced only in top vintages from the estate’s oldest Tempranillo vines aged for a minimum of 18 months in French oak. The 2006 Nebro offers up a complex aromatic array of pain grille, crushed stone, spice box, black raspberry, and black cherry that leaps from the glass. Elegant and velvety on the palate with succulent flavors, it still comes up a bit lacking in depth and concentration compared to the very best vintages. Finca Villacreces is a former grape source for Vega Sicilia and Flor de Pingus which speaks to the caliber of their vineyards.
