A little more closed and always more powerful than Labastida, the 2013 Lindes de Remelluri Viñedos de San Vicente de la Sonsierra, needed a little more time in the glass to show its true colors. The fruit is always a tad riper, and the tannins and texture have a little more rusticity. Both of these fresh and approachable reds are produced with grapes sourced from a dozen external grape growers and have a surplus of freshness and finesse over the previous vintage. Some 45,000 bottles were filled in May 2015.
