Tasting Notes and Scores

93 WS

Beautifully crafted, rich and creamy, with depth, finesse and grace. The core of white peach, nectarine, ginger and honeydew melon shows a spicy, toasty oak accent. Glides and sails along on the finish. Drink now through 2023. 485 cases made. JL April 2015

Wine Spectator

90 WI

(from a 1964 planting at an altitude of 1,400 feet on soil rich in iron oxide, according to Ehren Jordan): Bright yellow. Highly perfumed, slightly exotic nose offers scents of apricot, quince, peach oil and vanilla. Supple and thick on entry, then a bit more aggressive and less complex in the mid-palate than the Estate bottling. Just a hint of alcoholic warmth on the back end. May 2014
