Tasting Notes and Scores

93 VI

93pts Eric Guido, Vinous The 2019 Pinot Noir Amity Hills offers cherry cola, lavender, spiced orange rinds and hints of cedar on the highly expressive nose. It is a wine of energy, finesse and ripe red fruits, with a core of juicy acidity and crunchy minerality that dazzles the senses. It’s long and lightly structured through the rose-tinged finale and slowly fading hints of licorice. The Amity Hills hails from the Stone Creek vineyard at around 450 feet in elevation, in a valley surrounded by forest on both sides.
