We are proud to support the Rauzan-Ségla Curious Vines Bordeaux Education Award, a brilliant initiative supporting women and non-binary professionals in the UK wine trade to deepen their Bordeaux expertise
At Bordeaux Index, we’ve always believed that knowledge, access, and opportunity should be at the heart of the fine wine world. That’s why we’re incredibly proud to be supporting the newly launched Rauzan-Ségla Curious Vines Bordeaux Education Award - an initiative that aligns perfectly with our commitment to driving progress and inclusivity in the wine industry.
This award aims to elevate Bordeaux wine knowledge for women and non-binary individuals working in the UK wine trade - providing them with enriching educational experiences and the tools to grow and thrive in their careers.

Five recipients will embark on a two-day discovery trip to Bordeaux, visiting Châteaux Rauzan-Ségla, Canon, and Berliquet, with a tailored program of technical estate visits, vertical tastings, masterclasses, and insightful round-table discussions on key topics such as sustainability, communication, and business innovation in the world of wine.
One of the award recipients will also be selected to receive additional learning opportunities, including:
- Enrolment in the Wine Scholar Guild’s Bordeaux Masters Program - the most advanced certification on the region and wines of Bordeaux.
- Attendance at our Bordeaux Index “10 Years On” Bordeaux Tasting - an exclusive opportunity to experience the complexity and evolution of aged Bordeaux wines alongside our expert team and collectors.
As industry leaders and passionate advocates for education, we know that empowering diverse talent benefits the entire wine trade. Supporting initiatives like this is part of our broader mission to help shape a more open, equitable, and forward-thinking industry.
Applications are open now and close on Friday 4th April 2025. If you are ready to deepen your knowledge of Bordeaux and expand your impact in the wine world, we encourage you to apply.
