Loads of great, old-school charm here. The bright red fruits have lift, definition and a crisp, peppered edge. The wine is complicated with nuances of lead pencil, forest floor, cigar box, tobacco, ash and green leafy aromas. The finish lingers with its sweet, ripe, red fruits. Well-stored bottles are worth seeking out. Tasted April 2022
