Tasting Notes and Scores
Extremely attractive aromas of currants, raspberries and blueberries follow through to a full body with silky tannins, and a beautiful balance and fruit, tannin and acidity harmony. Wonderful second wine from Rauzan-Segla. Try in 2017.

James Suckling
The Segla serves up a cornucopia of lush red berry fruit laced with dried rose petals and candied orange peel. With aeration, there are scents of vanilla coming through. The palate is medium-bodied with fine tannins and plenty of crisp, fresh, dark fruit laced with black tea and a little spice. It is a very composed Segla with a long finish. One of the often over-looked second wines that certainly in this vintage should not be overlooked. Tasted November 2012.
