90-93 JMO

Still in barrel. Mid lemon yellow. There is that custard cream note from the barrel which will be refined later. But it is also the style of this vineyard, with its extra weight and spice. Still a work in progress but heading in the right direction. Drink from 2028-2033. Tasted Oct 2024.

Not much on the nose, but it may have been because the wine was very cold. Lots of fruitiness here. Easy peasy. Pears and apples. Pressed apple juice. Thin trace of smoke. Juice and juice and juice. Hazelnuts. Seems so easy and almost unseemly in its straightforward readiness.Tamlyn Currin.
