Tasting Notes and Scores

88-90 RP

Tasting note: Aromatically opulent and expressive with intense, pure and intensely spicy black fruits and sappy, large-scaled, wonderfully detailed but edgy and structured flavors that offer fine length. This is firmly tannic and somewhat rustic and it may never completely round out but the complexity is outstanding.

Wine Advocate

88.5 ST

Medium red. Pure aromas of redcurrant, cherry, flint and minerals. Tightly wound and firm-edged, conveying a distinctly drier impression than most of the foregoing samples. But certainly juicy and fresh. Finishes firmly tannic, with subtle length. A bit dry today and hard to assess.
