Tasting Notes and Scores

90.5 ST

(aging in new barrel, like all of Potel grand crus in 2000) Red-ruby. Almost confectionery, liqueur-like sweetness on the nose. Fat and dense on entry, with red fruit flavors complicated by spicy and herbal nuances. Pure and intense but a bit strict today, with restrained sweetness; the Malconsorts is currently more open on the back end.
