Excellent deep healthy purple. Big, round and toasty – rather attractive on the nose. Good sweet mid-palate with topnotes that make it a really well balanced, lively proposition even if it fails to be one of the biggest wines in the line-up. Quite chewy and respectable. Attractive for the medium-term. (JR)
